Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
This page describes how California residents and other eligible consumers may exercise opt-out rights related to the “sale” and “sharing” of personal information, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”). ALAMEDA HOME LOANS LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this notice in addition to our Privacy Policy.
1. Your rights under the CCPA/CPRA
If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the “sale” of personal information and to opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, subject to certain exceptions. “Sale” is defined broadly to include disclosures of personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. “Sharing” includes disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for monetary consideration.
You also have the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information in certain circumstances, to request correction of inaccurate personal information, and to exercise other privacy rights described in our Privacy Policy.
2. How to submit an opt-out request
You may submit an opt-out request through the web form below, by emailing support@alamedahomeloans.com with the subject line “California Opt-Out Request,” or by calling (724) 401-4783. We will verify your request to a reasonable degree of certainty as required by law. We may need additional information to confirm your identity before processing your request.
Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf where permitted by law. Agents must provide signed permission from you and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us unless you have provided the agent with power of attorney under California Probate Code provisions.
3. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Where required by law, we will process opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) in a frictionless manner for browsers or extensions that send such signals. Using GPC may constitute a valid opt-out request for the browser or device you use to access our Services. Additional information may be required for certain requests.
4. Effect of opting out
When you opt out of sale/sharing, we will not sell or share your personal information as defined by the CCPA, except in limited circumstances permitted by law (for example, if you later provide consent or if an exception applies). Opting out does not mean you will stop seeing all ads; you may still see non-personalized advertisements.
5. Financial incentives
We do not currently offer financial incentives or price or service differences in exchange for the retention or sale of personal information. If we offer such a program in the future, we will provide a separate notice that describes the material terms and obtain any required consent.
6. Non-discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights by denying goods or services, charging different prices or rates, providing a different level or quality of services, or suggesting that you will receive a different price or level of service, except where permitted by law.
7. Shine the Light
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents who use the Services primarily for personal, family, or household purposes to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes once per calendar year. If applicable, you may submit such a request by email as described above.
