Marketing practices

This disclosure describes how ALAMEDA HOME LOANS LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may market its services, including the APPNAME mobile application, and how we use advertising technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy and should be read together with that Policy. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the Privacy Policy.

1. Marketing channels

We may engage in marketing through a variety of channels, including:

  • Owned channels, such as our website at alamedahomeloans.com, APPNAME, and official social media accounts.
  • Email and SMS, where you have provided contact information and, where required, consented to receive promotional messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply for SMS.
  • Paid search and display advertising on search engines, ad networks, and publisher sites.
  • Social media advertising on platforms such as Meta, Google/YouTube, TikTok, or others as our campaigns evolve.
  • Affiliate and partner marketing where permitted by contract and law.
  • Direct mail where we have a permissible postal address and the communication is permitted by law.

2. Truthful and non-misleading communications

We strive to avoid false, misleading, or deceptive statements in advertising. Marketing materials may describe general product categories, typical ranges of amounts or rates, or user benefits at a high level. Such statements are illustrative and do not guarantee that you will qualify for any particular product, rate, or term. Actual costs and availability depend on lender criteria, creditworthiness, verification, and applicable law. If an advertisement includes a representative example, we will label it clearly and provide additional context where required by regulation.

3. Targeted and personalized advertising

We may work with advertising partners to deliver ads that we believe are relevant to your interests. Partners may use cookies, pixels, mobile advertising IDs, and similar technologies to measure ad delivery and effectiveness and to show you ads on our Services or on third-party properties. Some of these activities may constitute “cross-context behavioral advertising” or “targeted advertising” under state privacy laws or “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA.

Where required, we will obtain consent before placing non-essential cookies or before sending certain marketing communications. You may control cookies through browser settings, device settings, and industry opt-out tools. California residents may opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in our Privacy Policy and on our Do Not Sell or Share page.

4. Affiliate disclosures

Some content may include affiliate or referral relationships. Where we receive compensation when you click a link or complete an action, we will disclose the relationship clearly when required by the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising and similar standards.

5. Testimonials and reviews

Testimonials reflect individual experiences and may not be typical. Results vary. If we compensate reviewers or use incentivized reviews, we will disclose that fact as required by law.

6. Telemarketing and text messages

If we place marketing calls or texts to numbers on applicable do-not-call lists, we will do so only as permitted by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), implementing regulations, and state telemarketing laws. You may opt out of marketing calls or texts using the mechanisms provided in the message or by contacting us. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase where prohibited.

7. Email unsubscribe

Marketing emails include instructions to opt out, typically through an “unsubscribe” link. You may also use our unsubscribe page. Transactional or relationship messages about an existing account or application may continue as permitted by law even after you opt out of marketing.

8. Children’s marketing

We do not knowingly market to children under 13 (or higher age where required) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.

9. Changes

We may update this Marketing Practices disclosure from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
